Testosterone – Testosterone is a sex hormone that is essential for sex drive, muscle mass, fertility, and mood. You can naturally increase your levels through exercise and diet. Tracking your testosterone levels over time can help you discover whether your testosterone levels are decreasing with age. This test can also help women explore whether their testosterone levels are too high, which can occur with the health condition polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)

Prostate – The prostate is a walnut-sized gland located between the bladder and the penis. The urethra runs through the centre of the prostate, from the bladder. The prostate is just in front of the rectum. The urethra runs through the centre of the prostate, from the bladder to the penis, letting urine flow out of the body. The prostate secretes fluid that nourishes and protects sperm.

  • Benign prostrate enlargement (BPE) can place pressure on the bladder and the urethra and may cause difficulty starting to pee a frequent need to pee and difficulty fully emptying your bladder

  •  The cause of prostate enlargement is unknown, but it is believed to be linked to hormonal changes as a man gets older and this may cause the gland to grow

  • Prostate cancer usually develops slowly, so there may be no signs for many years

Iron – There are many things that can lead to a lack of iron in the body. In men and post- menopausal women, the most common cause is bleeding in the stomach and intestines. This can be caused by a stomach ulcer, stomach cancer, bowel cancer or by taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)

Iron deficiency anaemia is when your body does not have enough red blood cells. Red blood cells carry oxygen from your lungs to the rest of your body, every organ and tissue in your body needs oxygen to work, without this you may feel tired, weak, and short of breath. Men may also have trouble swallowing, tinnitus, a sore tongue, mouth ulcers and hair loss.

Cholesterol - High cholesterol is when you have too much of a fatty substance called cholesterol in your blood. Too much cholesterol can block your blood vessels. It makes you more likely to have heart problems or a stroke. High cholesterol does not cause symptoms. You can only find out if you have it from a blood test. This can help you spot early signs of problems such as heart disease and diabetes.
